Message from the Campaign Chairman - Greg Jordan, 2006 Campaign Chairman
This past year represents yet another significant accomplishment in the life of United Way of Bristol, marking the successful completion of the annual campaign of $1.3 million. Thank you to all of the volunteers who selflessly gave of their time, energy, and creative talents in serving their community by leading the annual campaign activities that enabled us to experience another record breaking year. And, yes, it is time for another annual meeting in which we conduct our plans and strategies to review agency requests and the campaign goal for 2007.
Each year brings its own unique challenges for a successful campaign, but our Bristol community acknowledged the service of our United Way Agencies and accepted the challenging goal of $1.3 million. We are pleased to report that our campaign was successful, and through the dedication of each campaign cabinet member, agency representative and United Way staff we were able to meet this goal.
This will enable our agencies to continue to provide thousands of people in our community with the programs and services that will help make their lives better and afford them hope for a brighter tomorrow.
Congratulations to the entire Bristol Community, and thank you for the opportunity to serve with all of our community volunteers in supporting our United Way Agencies.
