A gray chiffon day dress with a pleated bib front and ruffled jabot was dusted with silver sequins, while a duck blue pod-shaped coat was embroidered with organza...

French designer Jean Paul Gaultier conjured neon birds of paradise heading to a high-class rave in his feathered-and-caged haute couture collection in Paris on Wednesday.

Luxury labels Christian Dior and Giorgio Armani fought for the hearts and minds of A-list actresses in Paris on Monday with glittering haute couture presentations of red carpet gowns.

Helen Mirren, Kerry Washington, Liv Tyler and Eva Mendes were just some of the celebrities who descended on the French capital for the first of three days of autumn-winter couture displays.

The Dior show should make even the notoriously icy U.S. Vogue editor Anna Wintour crack a smile.

British designer John Galliano delivered an ode to the magazine with his retro-flavored collection, and...

A motley group of foreigners _ English teachers, students of Arabic, even a journalist _ gathered on a recent chilly night in the Egyptian port city of Alexandria, brought together by a love of cinema, curiosity and a furtive hope of catching a glimpse of Omar Sharif.

Glamour, however, was in quite short supply for our band of film extras. Waiting around for hours in our 1940s period costumes, we slouched in the elegant wood paneled bar of a luxury hotel eating cold food from McDonald\'s, waiting to shoot a five-minute dining room scene. The lead actors had yet to even show...

Scientists Watermelon yields Viagra-like effects By Tony Gutierrez (AP)

A slice of cool, fresh watermelon is a juicy way to top off a Fourth of July cookout and one that researchers say has effects similar to Viagra _ but don't necessarily expect it to keep the fireworks all night long.

Watermelons contain an ingredient called citrulline that can trigger production of a compound that helps relax the body's blood vessels, similar to what happens when a man takes Viagra, said scientists in Texas, one of the nation's top producers of the seedless variety. Read More...
